Jill is a New York-based professor, author, performer, and sex columnist for the Huffington Post. She has appeared on The Katie Show, CNN, On Call With Dr. Drew, bethenny with Bethenny Frankel, Huff Post Live, and numerous television and radio shows, where she speaks about sexuality and gender politics. Her work has been featured in Glamour Magazine, refinery 29, Galore Magazine, Lipstick & Politics, Luna Luna Magazine, as well as other publications. Beautiful Garbage, (She Writes Press) her debut novel about the commercialization of sex and art in the 1980s downtown New York, was named a Small Press Pick of 2013, and has been dubbed “an alluring tale of New York nightlife and its seedy players” by VICE Magazine. Di Donato is a mentor to young women and runs writing workshops at Barnard College on memoir and fiction writing to help young writers find power in telling stories. Currently, she is working on a collection of essays, 52 Weeks of Sex: Diary of a Single Gal. Her goal is to help eradicate the shame and secrecy associated with the breadth of sexual experiences.
Jill will have copies of Beautiful Garbage available for sale.
